Xavier University, Bhubaneswar, is founded on XIMB’s 28 years of dedicated and premier contribution to management education and research. The Institute has had the privilege to have evolved from a world class b-School to a full-fledged private University. With the mission of inspiring future generation of students, we have metamorphosed to a higher order of existence having the possibility to be a great university in the world, and for the world. At Xavier University, a Jesuit University, the brand of quality contains the social mission of education and communication, the environmental sustainability mission, the research mission, the innovation mission, and the spiritual mission, for the common good of all and for the greater glory of God. We are very concerned about what our students become and we support their personal growth. The University as of now has six institutions under it, of which three institutions are under the Faculty of Management. It has about 70 doctoral students enrolled in various disciplines. The Faculty of Management has about 1218 graduate students studying presently. We have about 95 full-time faculty and about 250 part-time and visiting faculty. XIMB its premier institute within the Faculty of Management of the university has seen its flagship business management programme usually ranked among the top ten programmes within the country. The institution has a record of all students being placed before they graduate, which is indicative of the trust that corporates place on the processes and quality of management education that we impart. Three of the six schools of the university comprise the Faculty of Management. These are Xavier Institute of Management (XIMB), Xavier School of Human Resource Management (XaHR) and Xavier School of Rural Management (XSRM). These three schools provide through their flagship programmes the necessary management education in areas of business management, human resource management and rural management respectively. The Faculty of Management thus builds business managers, human resource managers, rural sector and social sector managers. These managers are essentially the change agents and drive corporate excellence and societal development. The faculty of management is therefore robust in its mission to build the future leadership of the corporate and development sectors by developing such competent and value-driven professionals.
