Students at Grenoble Ecole de Management have access to a large array of top-class facilities. In 2008, to respond to the school's growing activities and student intakes, a new building wing was unveiled. This new 9 storey (40 meters) high building brought the school's surface to a total of 34000 square meters. This new building, composed of a clever combination of glass, concrete and aluminium metal, houses a 479-seat lecture hall, new classrooms, faculty offices, and a conference centre. The main building is three storeys high, with three large wings which accommodate classrooms, lecture halls, offices, a business library, and the dynamic student association corridor. Grenoble Ecole de Management is the French school with the most student clubs. Located at the heart of Grenoble's business district and just a stone's throw away from the train station and the city centre, the school's building can be distinguished by its futuristic, yet functional architecture. Open on the town and the surrounding mountains, the school is fully equipped with a state-of-the-art technological infrastructure, acting as a showcase to the latest technological innovations. Most recently, a new trading floor was opened at Grenoble Ecole de Management. Further to a new partnership with Bloomberg, the school has set up a trading floor on its campus, offering students real-life financial situations via Bloomberg's financial software tools. The objectives of Grenoble's trading floor: 1) Help students to familiarise themselves with this future professional tool, by offering them the same conditions as any professional in that area. Bloomberg is the most commonly used software in the banking sphere. Furthermore, the students will have the opportunity of graduating with the Bloomberg University Certificate - an online certification program; 2) Assist the research work carried out by professors in Finance at Grenoble Ecole de Management (access to financial data, study of stock market behaviour...). Since its creation, Grenoble Ecole de Management developed an expertise around mutations linked to the management of technology in businesses. As well as developing general business management knowledge, students also get training in Technology Management and Innovation. Students have access to hundreds of high-tech tools on a daily basis: Bloomberg trading floor

Set up multitude means of communication: : instant messaging, video conferencing, telephony, application sharing, and file transfer) An « innovation » laboratory launched in September 2010: In September 2010, 40 students were selected to be part of an « innovation » laboratory at the heart of the school aimed at testing, amongst other innovations, the pedagogical advantages of the iPad. 'The iPad is perfectly suited in terms of its vast experimental learning capacity. We want to imagine new ways of making use of it: developing new applications, more intuitive use of its e-book reader, access to online classes and distance learning, giving access to faculty publications via the e-book store etc...' explains Béatrice Nerson, deputy director of the Grenoble school. 'For over 22 years, all students have been asked to have a PC - which is now offered by the school since 2008 - the question now is to find out whether the iPad will replace PCs. We also want to examine new ways of using it, its inconvenient features, its advantages - for example, we may realise that the iPad is less 'intrusive' than a PC, which, when open in the classroom, is like a barrier between the student and faculty...' explains Marc Humbert, head of the Innovation Laboratory. Students were selected to become beta testers in this new Innovation lab - a Laboratory of Experimental and Innovative Pedagogy - aimed at testing all that is new in the global learning environment. Based on the results of these tests, new course contents and pedagogical resources will be made available to all at the Grenoble school. For example, the group will receive a preview of a new class on 'Innovative Information Management'. Furthermore, apart from the iPad, in terms of pedagogical resources and tools, the students will also be testing all that is - serious games, mind mapping, e-Readers, smartphones & Microsoft SharePoint applications and the HP tablet. The aim is to examine how well the students and faculty use these resources and tools, get their feedback and as a result develop new pedagogical applications open to all. New iPhone app for tech-savvy applicants Grenoble Ecole de Management has developed a new Iphone application intended to assist those interested in attending the school, notably during the stressful and selective entry exam to the Grande Ecole program. Video advice by the Dean, presentation of student associations, information about the various programs, student testimonials, events calendar (exam dates, holidays...), RSS flux with the school's latest news, and a guide to the city (best addresses and travel information)...the new application is the must have for those interested in attending the Grenoble school.
