Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration - Chulalongkorn University

Known as the Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University (GIBA) for the first 5 years, Sasin received the highest recognition for the quality of its programs in 1987 when it received the 'Royal Charter' in the sense that His Majesty the King bestowed the name of Sasin to our institution, being the only business and management education institute to have the 'Royal' stamp of approval for quality. The (Buddhist) motto also given to us by the Supreme Patriarch is now our institutional philosophy. It says 'Wisdom is the guiding light; Graduates must compel themselves to lifelong learning.'

     Over time, Sasin has developed in all aspects. Faculty members are mixed with visiting professors from the world's top universities, and full-time professors with Ph.D.'s from some of the world's finest business schools. Sasin programs continue to be distinguished by their truly international nature, offering practical business education at world-class levels.

     At Sasin, we have the vision 'To be at the forefront of graduate management study in Asia Pacific and among leading international institutions of management education.'

     Sasin exercised an important role with other leading business schools in the Asia Pacific region in establishing the Association of Asia-Pacific Business Schools (AAPBS) which I myself served as President in 2009.

     Sasin is now accredited by two most demanding accreditation bodies. The US-based and longest serving accrediting body, Association to Advance

Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB International) granted its accreditation

to Sasin on January 7, 2010. Twelve months later on December 9, 2010, the European-based accrediting body, European Foundation for Management

Development (EFMD) informed us about its decision to award the EQUIS (European Quality Improvement System) accreditation to Sasin.

     Sasin has become Thailand's first and only business school to earn these international accreditations, and they are your assurance that Sasin programs reach international standards of global excellence.
